Reichart will bring napkins and plates.

Wear good shoes, could be wet. Always be prepared.

Directions  From the Foothill freeway (210) in Pasadena:

Take the Arroyo Blvd-Windsor Ave exit. Head north on Arroyo, which becomes Windsor. Park in a lot on the left about a mile up, just before the intersection with Ventura Street.

Walk up Windsor, Ventura St will be to the East. There are two roads you can walk, the left most goes to the JPL parking lot. Take the one to the right of this.

As you walk down a ways (about 300 meters) there will be another fork (the left goes again to the JPL parking lot), stay to the right.

Once you get in a ways, you can either take the valley (water, streams, etc.) or the hillside (views, warmer, etc.).

few hundred feet to a gated ,narrow, paved road on the right side of a Y. The road to the left drops down into the JPL parking lot. (Lat:34.19338 Lon:-118.16893)

Where  La Canada Flintridge, just east of Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL)

Notes  Hike up to the Arroyo Seco area to the Oakwilde camp. The trail is shaded by oaks, sycamores, maples, and countless white alders.

There are seasonal streams, so wear WATER PROOF SHOES! The first 5 or so kilometers are pretty easy (3 miles) to Paul Little Picnic Area, then the trail gets more steep, this is where the waterfall comes into view, over an old dam.
