Special instructions This weeks hike will in fact just be a potluck wind down at the RED Rhino Ranch. Many of us (several dozen) hikers went to Burning Man (Camp Burn the Geek), and still have stuff to sort and clean.
Even if you did not attend BM, please feel free to join us at the Ranch for potluck (bring something), conversation, pool and spa. This will be an all day event, perhaps into the evening, feel free to show up anytime (bring towel, suit, etc.).
For those that went to BM, the plan is to clean stuff in the morning, empty the trucks and wash stuff off. Then enjoy the rest of the day together trading stories and uploading photos.

Directions Coming from south of the 134, take the 5 freeway north to the Sunland exit. Head North on Sunland Blvd about 2km to Penrose, turn right.
Drive east until you hit the last house on the right.

Notes This is a home just north of Burbank. We have wireless (and wired) so feel free to bring your laptop. Most events include use of the pool, which is black bottomed, bring towel + suit. Almost all events are potluck, so share food, share wit, share the fun. |
